Cromwell Place – Announcing a New Model for the Art Market

About This Project

Launching in autumn 2019, Cromwell Place will apply a flexible workplace model to the art world, creating a new arts destination in London and a dynamic new approach for galleries and museums wishing to exhibit in London. Five Grade II listed town houses in South Kensington will provide individually designed exhibition spaces, viewing rooms, permanent offices, hot desks, museum-grade art storage, coupled with full logistical and marketing support.

Membership is open to UK and international galleries, institutions, art dealers, advisers and curators. Cromwell Place aims to establish a thriving collaborative atmosphere, enhancing the scope and ambition of exhibitions and building a reputation for the quality and professionalism of its Members.

  • Support in raising awareness of their ground-breaking business model, helping to engage key stakeholders with the idea and plans.
  • Advising on the messaging and positioning of Cromwell Place, in both marketing material and media.
  • Helping to organise and coordinate a series of opening mornings during Frieze 2017, inviting media and potential stakeholders to visit and learn more the site prior to renovation
  • Organised a range of interviews with the Director and senior management team in key national and international media outlets.
  • Awareness-raising activities during Frieze resulted in a huge surge of interest from potential stakeholders, with multiple follow-up enquiries and applications.
