About This Project

The British Museum is the UK’s most visited cultural attraction with nearly seven million visitors, and year on year builds on its international reputation as a must-see attraction and research institution. We have worked closely with in-house communications team as well as the Directorate and Development teams since 2001, providing strategic advice and public relations support to develop the British Museum’s brand and profile. This includes:

  • Ongoing work  with senior management to position the Museum as a global resource and informed commentator
  • Expanding the national and international network of influential media and opinion formers  Increasing its visibility in key media sectors, assisting the high-profile media campaigns for many of the Museum’s special projects – from the opening of its World Conservation and Exhibitions Centre to exhibitions including The First Emperor: China’s Terracotta Army, Hajj: Journey to the heart of Islam, and Life and Death in Pompeii and Herculaneum
